Since I was a young child in Washington DC, my mother would always tell my three sisters and me, that we were 7 generations from Tzfat & Teveria. To us children, it seemed dreamy, but we never had more info to go on. When I was a teenager, I interviewed my Grandfather who was born in Tzfat and he gave us our ancestral names, but we still did not know how the lineage all connected.<\/p>\n

After seeing Ido from Ilan Vezikaron, as a contributor on one of the sites that had part of my family lineage, I contacted him and was hopeful that he would be able to help me move forward (with going further back!).<\/p>\n

Within hours of hiring him, I had dozens of additional relatives and confirmation going back of my mothers 7 generations from Zfat and Teveria, with all of their previously unknown names.
